Hi Guys, I just replaced the radiator on my 95 t5 wagon and it will not start for me,It cranks over but refuses to fire,i am very competent having spent at least 40 years repairing/rebuilding cars with a brother who is a qualified mechanic so am at a loss to pinpoint it at the moment,Have checked all plugs/leads associated with the swap and don't see anything left off or undone so far that i can find, Any help or ideas would be much appreciated Pete.

Can only suggest going over the leads you unplugged, the connectors are crap at this age and may have pushed back the pins or some such. I've seen some horrible ones.

I did a code scan and came up with TPS malfunction, will replace with known good part and go from there !

Just saw your comment Snoopy, a couple had done that so got it sorted then got out the code reader and TPS was cactus,Thanks for you reply, Cheers Pete.

Well guys, replaced TPS with one from a running vehicle and no go, rechecked with code reader and same code number came up again even after erasing it from previous read out, so now have no idea what the could be the issue,it has me stumped, will check for power at TPS plug and see what turns up !! After that no clue what it is.

Hi there guys, found the problem,It was the bloody relay plug connections, after checking TPS plug for power had another look at all plugs in swap and found the 1 next to cold air intake ducting had pushed back 2 leads when reinstalled,so popped them back on and bingo first crank it started,Yeehaa, A permanent fix now in place, Thanks again Snoopy for pointing out the obvious,Regards Pete.
