I really need to stop thumping my left hand drivers door whilst driving (it's a long way to reach over) and find the root cause of the ultra annoying squeak. They don't build these like audis! My B5 interior is as quiet as a mouse and has more kms and harder suspension. The Germans know how to use that felt tape in between plastics.
Ooohh...how well you speak of Audis and their leaning toward silence. Ahhhhhh....the very thought calms me.
Do you get slightly confused looks from others who pass you in your left hand drive vehicle?
Process of elimination sounds very sensible. I will have a look to see if I can remove the glove box without causing problems. I
did like your directive to "unscrew it first" lol...again such wisdom!!
Many years ago, my iron stopped working properly and given it was not worth taking to a repairer, I decided to see what I could do myself. I dismantled a good deal of the poor item, then attempted to remantle it (if I can dismantle then
surely I should be able to "remantle", no?
Now whilst I managed to put it back together, I did find myself with one small and now homeless/leftover part. Perhaps I'll take photos as I go along.
Many thanks bigal;121773. Much appreciated.
