Hmm, let's see. My first shed was a standard gable roof shed 11x14 m and all up including permits, site prep, slab, shed kit, construction, ceiling insulation, metal vermin seal around perimeter, vertical corrugated colorbond walls, corrugated colorbond roof, person door and a 5 m wide roller door came in around $32k. This new shed is the same size, but has in addition to the previous shed full insulation, eaves all around, double skillion roof 4.2 m high at highest point, 3 roller doors (one not seen in pic on south side is 3 m wide, and the ones you see in pic are 5 m wide and 3 m wide), Merlin Silent Drive openers x3, each with 2 remotes and a touch pad, a single external keypad for one door, and again fully assembled with permits etc. It came in at around $46k. That sounds a lot but I went to a builder and he said materials alone for a stick build would be $75k. Wow. I got quotes from 3 or 4 other shed companies and they either couldn't do the roof shape I wanted or had much higher prices. So both sheds were built by Ranbuild purchased through the Ballarat office, but the builders come from Bendigo. Pretty happy with them but they are a bit slow. One of the roller doors is defective so they are waiting for a replacement before they come back to finish the trim around the roof and some minor other bits. A bit annoying but I'm pretty happy that I was finally able to get pretty much what I wanted. Had to make a few compromises on the design but not major. The site is quite tricky because it's sort of perched on the edge of a slope, so I had to do a pretty major retaining wall and the access to the roller doors is a little tight because the driveway is only 5.5-6.5 m wide adjacent to the doors. Because our block (7.5 acres) is quite hilly and on the edge of the forest, the flat area for building is quite small or taken up by veggie garden and septic field. Probably a lot more than you wanted to know LOL!
