Hi there —my first post, totally new.
We're keen to purchase an XC60. Can I clarify from the above comments — anything before 2015 in the T5 range with 6 cylinders is not worth it? And does T correlate to petrol and D is for diesel?
Why are these cars not a smart buy? We test drove a $23k low kms 2014 XC60 T5 Kinetic, 4 cylinder Petrol Turbo Intercooled 2.0L with Geartronic (Sports Automatic).
Also low kms, one of these is available at $18km, 2013, 4 cylinder Petrol Turbo Intercooled 2.0L with the PowerShift (Sports Automatic Dual Clutch) I've read has issues.
What are your views on these models, is one better than the other? Are they both unadvisable?
Would very much appreciate any guidance. There's also a 2015 XC60 D4 Kinetic, low kms selling for $25k but just over our price range.
We kind of fell in love with the car, so to speak, when test driving but don't want to make an unwise purchase as we're expecting to use it often and for some time.
