Eugene Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions on exhaust options for the 850R turbo? What are some good online sites to check out? Jetex? Ferritas? Snabb? Thanks for any help! Eugene
Philia_Bear Vee_Que;112368 wroteBuild here, the imported ones all need modifications anyway. This +1 Find any reputable exhaust shop Considering the downturn in perth at the moment... i would even expect it could be cheap if you find a place needing jobs
Vee_Que The tme system is not a 3" system iirc, so your paying a premium for a smaller, basically stock size exhaust system which produces more power gain.
Eugene Forgive me, as am not technically minded; so even though the TME system is less than 3inches, it still would provide that power gain or boost?

Eugene Am thinking of building, using parts from Jetex and would anyone be able to help as to what parts or bends I would need? https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/s/exhausts/jetex-performance-exhaust-systems-parts/3-inch-diameter
timbo You need a 45° and a 90° plus a flex joint, 2x 02 sensor bungs and a flange for the turbo. 3" stainless mandrels are about $30 locally. Lookforjoe has a decent writeup of building his exhaust on swedespeed that i followed.
Ex850R Shipping empty tubes here is madness. Look to stainless suppliers for the correct grade and shop around. Will be a fun, annoying, painful but rewarding process. And I didn't mention how stainless pulls after you weld it? Ohh yeah.

Performance exhaust on eBay.
gavinh @Eugene are you on the Western Australia Volvo Enthusiasts page? There is a guy in the hills thats a member that may beable to help you out by the name of Thomas Naughton, he can custom fab or at least point you in the right direction
Eugene Thanks for the tips again! What do you mean by the stainless steel "pulls"? As in weakens with metal fatigure/stress? Thanks Gav for the tip, will check him out. What about the fact that some exhaust systems may not fit a right hand drive vehicle? Also, I was told that some 850R models had a heater core element behind the axle? A bit of a nightmare, but will persist. Had a look at the OBX exhaust on Ebay and it looks good!
Ex850R OBX is lhd and needs a bash with hammer to clear on downpipe. Pointless when you want to flow! Welding staino for most of my working life it pulls when heat applied, bends if you will. Ask Mark at vp tuning about a system.
Eugene Thanks......again! Will have to chat with Mark to find out more options. The more I surf, the more I keep discovering!
Eugene Would anyone here know if the turbo on the 850R is a straight flange outlet? Am asking CJ Yother in the US and he popped the question: https://www.yother.com/category-s/102.htm

But why pay all the postage when a good local can give you a perfect fit?
