jamesbrodie I have an S60r and when it is left for longer than a few days it drains the battery dead flat. It has been checked by an auto electrician, and they have been unable to find a fault, and suggested it might be one of the body modules?? Has anyone else had this problem? James
nickm pull fuses to locate the drain https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-850-16/basic-battery-drain-troubleshooting-101-a-42655/
jamesbrodie I pulled fuse 37 which is the alarm, battery still being drained. Whilst replacing the fuel pump i had the back seats out and the battery was fine, Problem seems to be the back seats, there is a plug in each side, i have no idea what it is for, as far as i am aware there are no rear seat heaters. Any ideas on why the rear seats have a plug?
Ghettobird See Nicko's link It could be anything from a sticky door lock that sits there burning away, faulty damper motor trying to close a HVAC flap, an interior light or a module not shutting down. I think the plugs are for occupant weight sensors IIRC, you should look up a wiring diagram incase they are the ones for the side airbags This thread is over a year old, Is this still an issue?
know1 http://www.volvowiringdiagrams.com/?dir=volvo/S60%20Wiring%20Diagrams has a 2004 diagram. Did the '04 have the button to automatically put the rear head rests down? Connector could be that.
