widmerpool a 2000 V70 T5 in fair condition currently registered. asking $4500 anyone hazard a guess as to what may be a realistic price ? car is in Townsville.
morgan It's not a t5 it's a 2.4 t , much different car , t5 maybe 4K 2.4 t. With rwc $1800-$3000 in average condition
Ex850R The badge on the back tells them otherwise. Townsville location takes out a whole lot of customers but you never know. That pricing is what dealers may try for. Fair condition means, as Darren said, 1800 or much less really. If lots needs done then nothing has been fixed ever.... So factor on $2000-3000 in parts and labour to get it right and not failing all the time.
Spac $2k after haggling, if doesn't have any obvious/significant flaws, and doesn't have too many minor flaws. If it happens to be a manual, then add somewhere between $400 and $800.
Ex850R Will always need a stage 0 and all the motor mounts replaced every P80 that age does cos only 1% do that when servicing..... Add in suspension and various sensors and seals, plugs etc and a good flush of that 5spd gearbox and its the usual $2-3K spend on Any P80.
Ex850R Are you wanting to be buy @ken_w? If so, tell them it's false advertising. "tell him he's deamin "
captain_anchovy Trying to verify service history. Vendor says my mechanic of 20 years (don't mention the war) has serviced it but he doesnt remember the car.
Spac Contrary to my earlier post, I have since seen the photos on the PC: Peeling clear coat on tailgate says it's more like a $1200 car than a $2000 one.
