I would like to purchase a set of 14' wheels that will fit a volvo 240. They MUST be in between 6.5'-8' width (or else they will not fit the tyres I am currently running). Not particularly interested in tyres unless its a decent deal.
Please contact me. I am located in Sydney and I'm happy to drive/pay for delivery for the right wheels.

Why 14s? Why not a better tyre size?

I have 5x 205/70r14 tyres with over 90% tread, just want to switch the tyres over and run those until I'm ready for 16x8 and new tyres.

Stick with what you have then..

Fritz will probably sell you his old 14" wheels once he has the 18"s fitted. We are in canberra
Wheels can be seen in this thread

Thanks @timbo, I think they're 6' wide though, not wide enough to run a 205/70 tyre

You might have more luck looking for some early holden or torana wheels. Not many volvos were ever running wide 14" wheels.

Having been down this path ~20 years ago, before the old Holden stuff was all gold-plated, 14x7s are much harder to find than you think.
What happened to the CSAs?

There are a few 14x6.5 options around if you can find them, I have some Sunraysia's in that size, and used to have some CSA's in that size as well.
14x7 wasn't as common for pre HQ Holden's.

I'm still running the CSAs, but I've broken a couple studs from cross-threaded lugnuts due to the washer + lugnut setup, and it prevented me from changing to a spare because I would have snapped another stud.
I've contacted a couple gumtree ads about some wider torana wheels but to be honest might just live with the CSAs til I get my hands on good 16s.

I used to have a few problems with my CSA's, I never damaged any studs but the nuts were fractionally too long and had bottomed out and mushroomed the ends ever so slightly, so they were always a really tight fit in the holes, it was all a bit of a pain at the time.

Doesn't mean it handled well though.

I didn't notice. Not like a 245 handles well anyway ;p

My father had 215/65/14's on the original 5.5" wide rims on his 265 for years, in theory it's not right, but that car handled shockingly regardless, so it made no perceivable difference.
