Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has a full set of fuel injectors in good condition for a 91 volvo 940 for sale. I've just seen petrol leaking from one of my injectors and being on a pension can't afford new ones straight away. Is there a easier way to get by with the problem. Happy for any info. Thanx for ur time..

Hi there it could just be a leaky 'o' ring its rare for an injector to leak externally

Will the leak stop when motor is off or will it continue to leak.

It will leak after due to pressure in the fuel line, . So it will still be the seals which are 10 each per kit online

Was just worried. Got a full tank of fuel and was wondering if it stops after a while. Will it just get rid of wats in the line or continue none stop. Just dont won't puddle of fuel underneath.

Once the car is turned off the fuel pumps stop running, so it will just leak until the remaining pressure in the fuel rail drops down to 0psi. If it's a very small leak, it may dribble fuel for several minutes before it stops. It won't drain the whole tank out.
I wouldn't drive it, but no need to worry about a big puddle of fuel forming.
It could be a cracked injector body, but that's very rare, it's most likely a leaking O-ring at the top of the injector, which is supposed to seal it to the fuel rail.
The O-rings are cheap and easy to replace, can be bought through Repco, Bursons etc.
Don't use regular rubber O-rings, the correct ones are made of Viton which is fuel resistant.
