EKHolden I have an EK Holden (hehehe ma name :>) with a Volve rear end in it and all i know about it is it has a 240 center, and 240 park brake shoes wont fit it (to small) I also have a pair of new rotors for the rear and i measured against the other and they seem the same, anyone able to help with measurements? EK
jamesinc What measurements are you looking for exactly? The rotors? Edit: also, please post a pic of your EK!
EKHolden Im gonna pull them off soon . EK :D http://imgur.com/PKfWLQ1 And a couple days ago a tree branch took it on  http://imgur.com/zQUkz52 http://imgur.com/Lc22NO1 EDIT: Spelling :pensive:
jamesinc ?? mint looking wagon. Sorry about the dents. Good panel beater will make them disappear though, looks like you got lucky and the paint is intact too. Rear discs are 281mm diameter. Here's a diagram:
EKHolden Yes very luck heh Diameter is about 296 Where the park brake shoes sit (internal) is about 176 (outside)about 185 Depth is about 90 And it is stepped towards the outboard side (closer to the wheel rim). Numbers on the back are Volvo (:p) 11. 676812. Min.th.8.4mm. Need more info?
deleted_user_160 Might need to check between years. And if you are definitely sure it's a 240 rear. The 240 platform started long before the 240(244) was a thing. Is it possible you have a 140/160/early240 rear end, where calipers and other brake parts were different between the mid and late model 240.
EKHolden egads;98793 wroteI think Jay has it, looks like 144/164 rear brakes That looks very similar are the park brake shoes wider than the 240?
EKHolden I bought a pair for the rawr from sparesbox for a 240 they are to small. I rang them gave them the p/n: on the Volvo drums but they weren't able to cross reference it with an after market one Are any of you able to do it? Numbers are Volvo 676812 Searching online the closest is the 144/164 suggested by egads.

You still looking for new ones? @AshDVS can probably get them, or you can order them overseas from places like IPD https://www.ipdusa.com/products/5213/101637-rear-brake-rotor
Major Ledfoot What ratio is the diff? If it's a 4.1/1 it's most likely a 140. 164s got 3.54/1 or 3.73/1, but so did 240s. According to Fidel on Turbobricks, the 240 axle is about 138cm and the 140/160 is about 142cm.

I dont know but i do know it has a 240 center It has a 5 speed vn gearbox and 17" mags revving a little hard what would that make the ratoi be? Idk much about diffs :p
deleted_user_160 If I'm not mistaken, for every full rotation of the wheels you count how many times the tail shaft rotates. That will give you the ratio.? Please correct if I'm wrong?
deleted_user_160 So for a 4.10 diff (940's etc) for every single rotation of the wheel, the drive shaft should rotate 4.1 times. Same practice for 3.83 earlier diffs etc.
