Ive had both of these for a good few years now and the rate I'm going I just don't know when I'll get to them so its time to lighten the load.
1970 164 Auto - Gold colour
*Haven't run it in a few years but confident I can easily get it to start and drive onto a trailer for the new owner.
* Sounded fine when last run and looks quite clean under the oil cap.
*New rubber brake lines all around 3 odd years ago but 0km. Brakes all unstuck and worked fine at that time.
*Interior is quite good even the leather seats aside from a few splits around the edges as pictured.
*Converted from a column shifter to a floor shifter at some point.
*Was resprayed and you can see was really tidy I'm guessing around 10 years ago but then the more recent owner before me left it under a car cover ruining the paint, needs a full respray.
*Some rust as pictured but nothing all that bad and floors are solid
1971 164 Manual - White colour
*Rebuilt carbs 5 odd years ago but 0km
*Ran and sounded fine when it did. Engine reconditioned at some point but a lot of oily build up visible when you take off the oil cap
*Some brake parts donated to make a good set on the other car but otherwise generally complete
*4 speed manual box
*Some rust as pictured but nothing all that bad and floors are solid
Extras not fitted (list not comprehensive, see pics for more but still a lot you cant see)
*New radiator hoses
*New water pump seal kit
*Stainless steal sleeved clutch master clyinder with new seals
*Used clutch master cylinder + hardline
*8 bolt flywheel
*Headlights, maybe spot lights
*Good pair of guards
*Front bumper with holes for spotlights
*B30E block and head that looks really clean inside and includes oil to water cooler, torque converter and flexplate, EFI manifold, fuel rail (no injectors)
*Reinforced and rally tested front cross member by Spac
Despite the looks, the white body shell is probably the better of the two. Ideally I'd like to sell this as a complete package lot as I can see quite a nice car could be made out of it all and that was my plan. I don't want to see both cars just parted out.
$1500 for the lot. Open to offers, let me know if you think I'm way off the mark, I do need to do a bit more research to see where current market value is at. Dont think there is anything I want in a trade situation but if you have some rare/unusual parts to suit a 240 I am listening.
Gold car is located in South Windsor, NSW, white car is approx 30 minutes west in Kurrajong.
