Major Ledfoot http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/tenterden/cars-vans-utes/86-volvo/1123521055 Silver with beige interior. Advertised as an '86 Volvo' with 547396 km, but the seller has posted a VIN plate photo indicating she's an '81 264. Tenterden JFTR is about an hour north of Albany, or about 3.5 hours from Perth.
Major Ledfoot gavinh;95321 wroteYeah it's been up before, I would but I can't hell of a steel if some one picks it up I'll say. It even appears to have good OE headlight protectors in the photo, and I ain't seen them for years... ... but as they say on Turbobricks, 'wrong coast for me'....
gavinh Yeah it's really good nick, but non runner, one owner from new and sitting for 10+years, it was like Stirling in a time warp
gavinh Sorry didn't get any more, but it obviously has the B28e non runner, engine oil was clean, coolent was clean. Interior was immaculate for age. More than likely gonna wreck it, given the amount of work I have put into the 240 but it will all be going into that, not sure about the prv? Like the V6 to drive but compare to the redblock? And it's a bolt in. Also everything electrical works!
gavinh Hey guys there are probably some prv gurus on this forum? I have put to much money in to my 240 to sell it or wreck it. Would it be beneficial to put the prv into the 240, it's had over 500000km on it and 2 rebuilds according to the owner and fastidiously maintained. I have had very little to do with the V6 I had 87 760 about 12years ago for a couple of years till rust got into the rear subframe. Also would a M46 flywheel and gear box bolt upto it?
Ex850R Sounds like a good one then! Many dislike but I reckon 98% haven't owned one and by all accounts they are great when looked after. I am no expert, Alex, @Vee_Que is. If anything, you could sell it to a Peugeot or Renault nutter for their versions using the PRV, could be worth selling on?
Major Ledfoot The good PRV is the B280, where they fixed all of the things which made the B27 / B28 very unpopular.
