Wondering if sumone can help me. last few days ive notice my abs light comes on on my dash wen i run car. ill turn car off then restart car then the light goes off. Wait could be the problem.

The light is telling you that the ABS system has detected a fault and generated a fault code. You need to extract the code to be able to proceed further with diagnosis.
On a 940 I think this is done with the diagnostic probe and connector under the bonnet, I don't have any experience with those systems so I'll leave it up to others to comment on the procedure.

you need to read codes as mentioned depending on SRS system it could be through obd or cigarette lighter

Fault codes out of the cigarette lighter is an interesting one.

yep thats how you read them on the dash flash/ as I earth the wire there from the fuse box, I find it the easy earth spot to get too when pulsing the earth point. I think off the top of my head it was fuse position 25 but need to look up again

Ah using it as an earth for a diagnostic wire makes sense.
