My 1998 C70 I've purchased has a wheel nut lock on each wheel.
It doesn't have a tool kit with it nor a locking wheel nut key.
Before I am out somewhere with a flat tyre, I'd like to remedy this situation by removing the errant wheel nuts and replacing with standard Volvo C70 nuts/studs.
Can anybody give me some suggestions?
Thanks.

I think it's a 17mm socket, could be 18,19,23...try fit it into the front of said nut then mash it in with good hammer to jamb it in, walah!
Shady bloke in junk yard told me about this....
Use cheap socket you don't mind wrecking a bit.
Wish I knew or figured this out before I welded bolts onto my v70r ones.....

Bash it to get it out or in vyce or some such.

Thanks chaps. I will try this when I get the nerve up.
I've had the car a week now and the chap before me gave me receipts for new pads etc so I'll phone the people who put them on and make enquires - and if I don't get a result, then I'll get the hammer onto it. I have a shed full of old socket.
Cheers.

Been using a cold chisel and big hammer to get them off the Discovery....apparently mine has the rare locking nut version which the local specialist doesn't have a tool for!

Tyre place aroond the corner knocked 'em off for me ( for $20).
