G'day lads
Recently acquired this thing as a parts car with intentions of swapping out the parts of a 244 into it, but have decided to buy a something more Asian instead as it's the quicker option and realistically between uni, work, yada yada don't have time/motivation for what this situation requires. I also need to move it from the property as it's in someone's car space, so the quicker the better, otherwise I'll just set it on fire and then take it to the dump.
To be completely honest, the most value out of this car would be to take the front doors and a section of the rear quarter panel, then weld them onto a 244 - standard 4 door into 2 door conversion that is common in the rodding world. Link to what I'm talking about -
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/tech-make-a-4-door-into-a-2-door.78120/ I've pulled the trim off the doors and checked that they're in good condition for this, so all good to go. It also has good front 1/4 panels, glass, one tail light, mirrors, and a few random interior bits, but would need interior stripping and both sills replaced, as well as the arches. Easier to just convert a 244 and do some body work. No engine or box either.
I'd even be happy to help remove the doors and cut the quarter for whoever wants them, but either way the car has to leave. Happy to assist with transport and all the rest. Asking what I paid to rent the trailer before driving up to get it - $150.
Also - as you can see there are a set of 18x8 BBS made Tritons on the car. They came off a C70 and have been sitting for a few years now. There are 5 and one is mostly good for a spare in comparison. 3 are not too bad - could easily bog and paint over. Planned to file the other one and maybe polish the lips altogether if the paint option wasn't taken. Other than the curb damage from the previous owner they're not bent or cracked. Centers are fine and have BBS inserts. Can get more pictures for serious interest. Tires are a no go and just on there for protection. I also won't sell the wheels without the car leaving one way or another as it can't get stuck here, so keep that in mind.
Price? Open to offers but I know what they're worth so keep it reasonable. They also come with hubcentric spacers to suit 24X models and probably 7 models as well - 25mm front and 32mm rear. Good condition but will need a few random nuts from memory. Bought off 240Joe recently for $140. Thanks Joe.
If you're still reading at this point then you're either as crazy as me or seeing some potential - considering that I want it gone I'll cut a deal for whoever wants to take the whole lot $$$$$$
