So recently bought a 360glt relatively clean has a b200k... with 450thou on it! Also there is nothing wrong with this engine its been serviced often and still runs smooth props to the Redblock! Anyway my plans are lh2.4 conversion and a b230f +T my main question being how to the turbos go fitting in these engine bays it looks like it would be pretty tight especially for the dump pipe anyone done this or got photos cheers callum!
Anthony
Pretty tight is the word, nigh on impossible with conventional exhaust plumbing. Easier if it was left hand drive.

Has been done, several times, but tight.
Was roughly planning the feasibility on my brother's one before he sold it.
Would need high mount no question, turbo where the air box is now with a pod filter somewhere like down behind the grille.
Room for inter cooler just but not if you have aircon.
Need the flywheel, sump, engine mounts and water pump from the B200 to put the 230 in there.

Yeah aircon is already in the bin haha, i have all the turbo components ready to go and a b230f 531 head vx cam the b200 sump, id just get my hands on a new pump.
will the b200 flywheel work with lh2.4? So engine mounts will bolt up to the b230 from the b200? Id get all the pipe work custom made along with a sneaky front mount. Not sure what id do with the manifold is there a place that you can buy them from or is custom the only option i have a std turbo one off and 87 740

Callum asks: will the b200 flywheel work with lh2.4?
Different hole pattern I'm afraid - More of the many issues to plan ahead for.
Converting/installing all the wiring and sensors from a TURBO version of Bosch LH2.4 EFI plus the EZ116 ignition controller to integrate into 360 electricals would be a daunting mission, so I hope someone can guide you there.
Flywheel differences:
360 = Renix = 44 pattern = 20 holes / 2 missing / 20 holes / 2 missing
240 = Bosch LH2.4 = 60 pattern = 58 holes plus 2 holes missing

One of my good mates is an auto elec. i still might go with lh 2.2 as i have everything. as for 2.4 i would still need some bits at this moment just tryinf to gather info and work out where to go.

Easiest way to trigger 2.4 is probably a custom trigger wheel on the front crank pulley.
Engine mounts from 360 will bolt right on B230.
No way in hell are you going to use a stock turbo manifold...the turbo would sit in the middle of the engine mount.
You will need custom manifold to move the turbo up where the air box is now behind the right headlight.
You could probably put a pod filter and AMM over on the left near where the AMM is now, use the location of the current pipe from air box to AMM to run a pipe from your new filter arrangement to the turbo, front mount I/C and sneak the pipe from that under the new pod filter and into the manifold.
It would be tight, but doable. Like I said, we planned it out on my brother's one but he sold it.

The 360 wiring wasn't great from the factory so stripping and starting again would be a good plan and this go for the best ecu setup you can afford that people around you can help with.

360 is the worst wiring ever its like volvo haf there 200s 700s and the 360 was just put together by all the apprentices as a project!! So custom manufold , im gunna go with lh2.2 easier to wire and i have all ecus to suit! Thanks everyone for the input next week the car is going in for rwc once i work out how to post photos il start a thread!
