I'd like to see if there's any interest in my 745T and the parts to go along with it. Ideally I'd like the car to sell before I let any parts go, but I'd probably be open to discussion.
1990 Volvo 740 Turbo wagon
Built 10/89, factory turbo auto wagon. B230FT, LH2.4, AW71, 3.73 diff. 387,xxx km. 9 months rego remaining.
Good points
Starts easily every time
Runs well
Makes good power and torque
Grey leather interior looks OK
Brakes recently overhauled and work well
Water pump, timing belt and tensioner, head gasket etc replaced around 60,000 ago
5x Hydra wheels in average condition.
Mods
Suspension: Kaplhenke billet adjustable strut tops. Bilstein HD struts and shocks. Custom one-off King front springs, King SL rear springs. 24mm 960 front swaybar, 19mm 940 rear swaybar. All poly bushes in front end.
Turbo: Ported 90+ exhaust manifold, ported 15G turbo about 45,000km since rebuild.
IPD turbo cam.
Adjustable cam gear.
Large transmission cooler.
Exhaust: 3" downpipe and Magnaflow 200CPI metal cat. 2.5" midpipe. Quiet tailpipe has large 2.5" muffler and 3" tip. Louder tailpipe has 3" hotdog and 3.5" tip. This takes 5 minutes to swap.
Disintegrator Performance custom intercooler.

Turbosmart boost controller
Turbotech boost solenoid to select between boost controller or direct to wastegate.

Bonnet catches on vent panel when opening, looks like bonnet has been sat on. Have parts to fix.
Engine has typical piston slap. Have a 93 B230FB, see below.
AC compressor needs to be replaced and system regassed. Have spare compressor.
I'm looking for $3500, which is well below the part-out value.

4x 17x8 48P Commodore VY SV8 wheels VGC fitted with brand new Kumho KU31 tyres. Combined with adaptors above, effective offset is 19P.
Pedal box and interior trim to suit manual transmission swap

All -89 parts to convert to earlier look, including OEM fog lights and brackets
LH2.4 NOS flywheel for manual conversion. Never used, machined and ready to go.
New 55w HID kit for high beams. Good quality, not cheap crap.

B230FB from 93 940, complete. Squirter block, more reliable round tooth timing belt, desirable 531 head.
Sports seats on modified standard rails, direct bolt in. I still need to pick these up.
Rare 5 bar oil pressure gauge for early clusters.
