Ask me a question about a P80 or 164 and I can help you out but 240's are not my strong point, have only ever owned 2 and one of those was for about a fortnight.
My problem is this. '86 240, it is a good clean original car, has not been messed with too much as far as I can tell, it does have a battery isolator fitted as you can see in the pics, it looks to be well maintained and has recently had new plugs, leads, distributor cap, rotor and fuel pressure reg.
The problem is that it is difficult to start, particularly when cold, if often takes 10 or so attempts to get it to idle. It then runs like absolute crap until it is warm. It seems to be fine after that. It was doing this before any of the other stuff was changed.
Is this 2.2? Where to start?
All assistance appreciated.
