Reading the owners manual and it references a limited slip diff as an option, but no mention on how you know your car has one (other than jacking in the centre and spinning wheels). I know there must be a code and plate somewhere. Old fords and holders had a metal tag under the filler cap!

A metal aluminium tag can be found attached thru one of the 8? Diff cover plate bolts, as a reminder when changing the diff oil.
Haven't heard of any codes on say chassis plates though.
I've only heard of one 264 with a LSD diff centre and that was a Canberra car mated to a Getrag manual gearbox, rare combination in Oz. Would be good to know if there's more out there.

John Johnson also had a 264 manual with M46 that was factory LSD also.
