It was registered and driving when I parked it. Fuel preservatve in the tank. Started occasionally and allowed to warm during the year. Moved occasionally. I think it would get places, especially with the usual spare relay's , fuses, basic tools and the like. But no promises. I will give it a drive around the block in the next couple of days.
Again no promises, but I have driven worse 240s further. I would guess it is roadworthy for a permit, but I don't promise it.
Another solution can be a tow to devonport on a backload, drive the 1km on the ferry, drive the 1 km off and then the usual systems in Melbourne. I've done that before with 140's. Plus once it's on, they tow it off if you can't start it for some reason at the other end.
I could possibly do work on it to improve confidence, but the price would rise proportionally.
