A/C and cooling. 240 Upgrade

in RWD
Knowing I'd need a pair of Davies Craig push/pull electric fans to help out the 240 A/C in traffic it's led me to ask wether a better, thicker core radiator and bigger condenser radiator element would be a good idea as well?
A/C is brand new compressor and fill but only good on freeway.
Not helping is my discovery that the mechanic didn't do the new belts/slipping or as the steering is sluggish it could be dodgy pump hurting the belts.
Wrong day to pick up the 240 , the v60 is saying 42°C on dash.....
I can get used PWR supercar radiators off marketplace ( from motorsport guys) they could be kool upgrade? Ill check measurements.....

Before doing anything, measure the AC temp so you have a foundation for knowing what you need to achieve for your comfort
What model 240 is it? Obviously the 1991- system is superior
It's 90. New modern compressor installed.
As other has mentioned , Volvo good for 30 degrees here but not much more.....
Even the V60T6 is very poor for ages on a hot day....
WHERE ARE THE AUSSIE CARS!?
It sounds like there is a fault, if it's cycling around 10-15° then that won't be very pleasant for long above 35-40° ambient
One of my cars I got down to 1.8°
Take it to the place that installed the compressor and have them check the pressures
Could be the slipping belts.
Pusher fan needs replacing as well.
I'll check belts as we're supposed to be replaced but maybe missed.
Power steer was pretty poor when low speed, would that be failing and causing drag?
It's cooler today. Time to check.
What model compressor did they use?
My memory is blocking out, I'll check, modern, new, Mark supplied it.
New belts for alternator needed, A/C one not tight enough.....bushes and maybe better tensioner needed. ( in my eyes anyway)
