Hi all.
Sometime in the next few months I'll be selling my Mother's '89 740 GL.
The purpose of this post is to seek some guidance on price. I know that's a difficult ask and it'll come down to what someone wants to pay. Anyway, I would appreciate any feedback.
Another question is about a roadworthy. The car is registered to April. Dad has always serviced the car and its in good condition, always garaged, etc, although the battery is flat and probably cactus. That said, it is a 32 yo car that has seldom been driven in the last 10 years and never more than say 5k. My guess is the tyres maybe be past the aged limit and there may be other issues that would require money spent to get a RWC. I doubt the car is worth (sale price) spending serious money on to get a RWC (if that's what is required). I'd like to hear your thoughts on selling this car without a RWC.
White 1989 740 GL sedan.
One owner since new.
~70,000 km
Probably a few minor dings and scratches as its been driven by two old folk all its life. AFAIK its never been in a panel shop.
The car is located in SE Queensland.
Apologies for no photos but Mum's in poor health and Dad is 89 so we are trying to minimise our visits at this time due to COVID.
Cheers.
Mark
