I am one step closer to keeping my misguided c30 adventure IF it kms are true and it passes its full inspection service in a few days. In the meantime I thought I better pull the air filter to reduce the thick smokers air that flow through the car. The little bugger is hiding.... all the YouTube etc depict left hand drives and access to the filter is behind the accelerator. Not hard but the Rh drive has a fuse rack under the glovebox on the left stopping access to where the filter should be.....? Any secret door traps or magic to find and replace a Rh drive air filter, please.
I have ordered a service manual on the model but it will still be LH drive detail.
Oh for those who read my wormy wheel issue they need machining @ $275each. Worms have their place I think ( replacement set I think is the way)
Ohoh!!! My unforgiving but pragmatic email to the car yard was met with a call yesterday, that blew me over. AN apology, and an offer of a full refund? See there is a Volvo God. I'm waiting for its medical check up , (which my partner has named her Volva. True.) and at 40k kms should be vgood. IF that occurs and the seller pays for a detail inside and out, I might keep it, and I'll deal with the wheels, I think. IT Is an entry level S, 11/2009 with low kms @ $11k so is it better than picking up a T5 or R Design with higher kms (say 70ish) for up to $15k range.???
Thanks for listening
