radoSteve'o @rado Shoalwater WA

Looking fora dash pad for an 850 , any colour . Cracks in the top isn't a problem. But the underneath to be good as it will be re-trimed . I'm in WA , so pick up or post please . Dd or pp ready 👍

  • I have been talking to Steve as I have a C70 dash pad available. Probably won't fit an 850 but in good condition.

Send me a PM if interested and I'll forward photos.

You can change the 850 dash etc to x70 as it's the same car apart from front sheet metal and radiator support and interior style of course .

Hi there, do you still have the C70 dash pad available? Colour? Year? Condition? Location?

    Thanks 👍

  • The C70 dash pad is available. It is in good condition but the speaker grill needs new clips or glue it on. I’m near Manly in Sydney. More photos available if needed. Looking for $50

    Cheers Peter

Bump for an 850 dash pad

  • Gotta be someone breaking an 850 out there

  • GeorgeVolvoGeorge @GeorgeVolvo Melbourne, Victoria

No good ones left… I’ve been looking for ages! By now most have warped - we fluked it around 3 years ago & found a perfect one from a T5 that was being wrecked here in Melbourne, but l haven’t seen another since then unfortunately…

  • Ex850RSnoopy @Ex850R Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Melbourne.

I wonder if someone in the world has figured a way of fixing them.

Maybe reach out on forums in UK and USA?

UK ones should warp and crack less due to climate but then they rust out faster and get scrapped....

  • Worth a go Les , here ya go , just took a picture of my original one .....

    Just fell apart literally

  • November bump

I'll call them Friday morning and see if they've still got the car , a white sedan.

    Hey Stewart

All good mate , I'm sure one will turn up but if you find one happy days

I have thought about rebuilding my original one with fibre glass as a last resort .

Is the 97 V70 part interchangeable? This is in excellent condition, low km car I took apart 10 years ago. Trying to have a clean up.

That looks very good , I'm wondering if it would fit an 850...

Just had a look at mine , totally different to an 850 unfortunately

No worries and pity ... The body is generally the same with the early V70 cars. . I'm still going to wreck an 850 at some point when I get the time. I was hopeful for some Volvo time now, but investment property repair and renovation has swallowed my break. I actually forget if they are hard to remove, do you know if everything Under the dash comes first? I seem to recall some funny process where the instruments is removed, then a few screws and the whole thing just lifts up? That would make it easy to retrieve.
