I've "rescued" 5x 164s that are probably only suitable for spare parts due to poor interior and body. Please PM me with any requests. Happy to post small parts but anything large or heavy I'd prefer pick-up. Can provide more specific details on request. Interiors are pretty trash, as are most of the panels. Many switches, some interior and exterior trim bits are OK. Mechanical condition unknown. A couple appear to have good petrol tanks. All autos. One 71 and the rest appear to be 72-73 models (I have yet to delve under the bonnet for VIN info on a couple as hinges are seized on a couple), a couple are twin carby, a couple injected, one on straight gas (ex injected).

If i had space , it could be good project but id really like to see the front put on a V70....
Now that's a far-out idea! My mate who helped me retrieve these cars is taking one of the front ends and going to try and put it on a 240...much easier I think! :)

I'd like to confirm my dibs on the front and rear bumpers and brackets from the 1973 model, please.
(The 73 model has the straight front bumper, not the now-rare-unique-to-164 curved front bumper).
I would like a good curved front bumper, alloy grill and grill surround aluminum trim please. And a rear aluminum large Volvo164 badge.

At this point they are all tentatively spoken for (waiting for confirmation from people who got in before you). I'll let you know.
The 164s are getting pretty picked-over. Any last requests? I cut the back off the red/orange one and going to mount on the wall, along with the front off the yellow/mustard one.
Do any of them have a manual ratio diff?
They're all automatics, so I assume no...

Would you be able to let me know whet condition the rear left doors are in. I remember one had some rust just under the window but can't remember what the others were like.

This is the best one @AdrianH the only damage is a bit on lower skin..inner and seal channel are all intact.
Thanks for the photos. While the upper section looks good there is more rust in the lower area than the one I have. I hope the area is not to rusted and won't need a patch.

Rear door check straps always come in handy as good condition replacements for front ones when they fail.

I may do...need to know what type (flat glass or domed)/brand...and diameter as some were retrofitted with the smaller 7 inch round with an added chrome ring. Maybe send me some pics of your existing one and advise diameter.
