Gauge HiWhat is everyone using for replacement door speakers on early 240's? I am wanting to keep the factory look/ grill and i don't want to cut into the door to change hole size.ThanksGauge
jamesinc I'm running Rockford Fosgate R165X3 6.5" speakers in my front doors but that's without the factory speaker grilles. One of the reasons I picked these was because they have a nice flat black grille without the usual gaudy design accents many speaker brands have.

And have you had any clearance issues with window regulators or anything?
Ex850R Kaplehenke make CNC cut aluminium covers to look factory for other speaker installs.Get some good midrange 4" to fit , splits , snesk the tweets up on dash and some decent mid bass up back with a couple of amps to run it. Lots of panel deadening.
