I have a 2011 D5 XC60 R-design, It's my first Volvo, had it for about 3 years now and its got about 190k kms on the clock.
It's a love hate relationship really, some things I absolutely love about this car but there is always some minor issue or intermittent problem taking away from the experience.
Pros:
Fuel economy is excellent even when towing.
Very quiet inside, fantastic stereo system, very luxurious.
Very comfortable for long drives, great seats, plush suspension.
Plenty of power or should I say torque.
Cons:
Sometimes the transmission clunks when going from park/neutral to drive and the car jumps forward.
Windscreen leaks, not much but really? on a car this expensive!
Drivers side headlight has an intermittent flicker.
Rear diff has started to hum around the 80km/h mark, no drain plug to change the oil, got to suck it out.
A/C has stopped working, might just be gas but I doubt it, getting it looked at soon.
On hot days the reverse camera screen flickers
Sometimes the main stereo/navigation screen doesn't work, have to pull the fuse out to reset.
