The wife has one. We love it. That said, this V8 is a cruiser, not a racer.
The engine has plenty of go and has a lot of potential, but the gearbox is the weak link.
If you're buying one, the lower the kays, the better. If you find one with under 100K on the clock, grab it, and get a transmission flush done ASAP.
Starter motors can be a problem. If the starter drags its feet getting the job done, it's replacement time.
However the turning circle leaves a lot to be desired, compared with the RWD redblocks we all know and love.
