I have a 2000 C70 convertible and all I can see for a rear lower engine mount is an aluminium block with a rubber where I would expect the hydraulic mount to be. There is a 5mm gap between the rubber and the stop mounted on the steering rack.
I have inserted a rubber spacer in the gap and it stops the crashing when hitting road bumps. I have a new firewall mount and front hydraulic mount on order and all the other mounts are good.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is normal and if the gap would be taken up by a new front hydraulic mount or if a rear hydraulic mount should be there.

The drivers side lower mount can be deceptive and be dead at this age. I've got some here if I can find,.....cheap! New or near New.
The rear one isn't even present on an AWD platform, just a little bum stopper on the passenger side of subframe under the gearbox so don't worry. It will all sit back ok.
I'd check the subframe and suspension rubber bits too.

Thanks for that, some diagrams have the block, some have a hydraulic mount so not sure. Drivers side lower mount seems pretty good. Convertible looks like it has has the solid subframe mounts and all lower ctrl arms struts springs seats and tie rods new. Drives like new when I insert the rubber wedge hopefully new front hydraulic does the trick.
