Hey Guys~!
Just bought a new Volvo XC40 in Sydney and searched around to see which private store services the Volvo better and came to conclusion "Lupica Motors". Reason: would be cheaper considering that I drive 70-100km per day for work.
However I've got a question regards to Volvo's software updates, is it true that the updates can only be done at Volvo service centres?
Chris
Yes that's right

whats the service interval on "km" for volvo?
Chris
I can't say for sure as I don't have a new one, but I would imagine no more than 15,000 km. But it will also be time based, so even if you do less you still need to get it serviced regularly. Typically this would be once per year. If you do mainly short trips it's best to change the oil every 6 months as this sort of driving is considered harsh operating conditions.
Don't be tempted to go only on km if you do little driving. If you ended up servicing the car every 2 years for example, it would cause long term damage and void your warranty.
Best to check with Volvo. If you decide to use an independent they will also be able to advise you.
