Hi all,
Here's the current situation (no pun intended) - '89 240 LH2.4
*Engine cranks but won't start
*No spark at plugs
*12V at both coil terminals
*Coil terminal on power stage side does not switch to 0v/12v when cranking
*Belts okay, rotor is turning whilst cranking
*Crank sensor putting out 0.1V AC while cranking and resistance @ 136 ohm
*Power in and out of power stage okay, ground pin okay, seems to be getting signal from CPS
*All fuses okay
Recently swapped from an AW70 to a M47 and am hoping I didn't put the flywheel on 180 degrees out.......
Anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe low compression from fuel washdown from lots of starting? Put some oil down each spark plug hole.

All fixed.
It turns out that when I was repairing some old dodgy wiring I accidentally swapped two wires in the ignition switch. Fixed this and it fired up first try (then blew a power steering hose and dropped fluid all over the floor).

Gotta love PS fluid!
Glad you got it sorted.
