240 Glovebox lock & grip

My Glovebox lock grip already had a split and today split entirely in 2.
I have seen these as a potential fix:

I am missing the key to the lock (should this match door/ignition key?) so need to consider the cost of just the grip VS a good used lock with key.

Mine split off a while ago, I reckon it looks and feels better without it.

I replaced mine with a lego tyre :)

Same thing happens on 740 and 940s. I got 2 from Skandix last year. They seem like good quality.
