agravadr Been digging around, this traded hands earlier in 2018? Anyone familiar with this wagon? https://www.facebook.com/groups/614536875329657/permalink/1941259899324008/?sale_post_id=1941259899324008&surface=messenger_banner
Spac There was discussion about the price on FB too... General consensus was that it is significantly overpriced.
agravadr It's an interesting car, particularly for someone like me from North America where no manual P80 Rs were ever sold (maybe the odd few in canada, but none in the US). The T5R market has taken off over the past 24 months, so I guess a rising tide will help support a higher asking price for lower production number cars like this. But Cam to your point, the maintenance file needs to be there to support the ask. The seller has shared with me receipts over the last 30k kms for significant work (transmission rebuild, clutch, real main seal, angle gear, cv shafts, full tune up, engine mounts, new radiator, ABS pump, and new control arms up front) but if I'm paying anything close to asking price I'd want the following addressed which to date are question marks: timing belt, AC evap, need more detail on any front/rear suspension replacements (lots of bushings..), and I'll want to see the PCV glove test. Not terribly worried about tires and brakes, but if those were recent, bonus! And for 11K I'd really want a tidy interior! A very well sorted 2000 V70R in the pacific northwest of the US (people tend to pay more in this geography than elsewhere in the states) traded around 6500 USD recently, so if the car has had a good caretaker and the records confirm it, price isn't terribly unreasonable. I'll keep folks appraised. It's a cool car and worthy of a good steward..
