timbo Should be down under intake manifold near cylinder 3 as indicated by red arrow and the blue arrow should have a vacuum hose coming from the flame trap which is obviously missing

timbo That's not right the white filter was probably blocked at one point and removed, what have they done with the oil separator on the block?
VolvoHordz Nope, that's not it, you need to look lower and further back. Bit of a pain to get to on k-jet cars. Flame trap is item 17 on the image at https://varuosad.alvadi.ee/en/car/volvo/1002/manufacturer/71/43164619?ssd=%24HAxLcgECBQtNa3YKLU9CWRlGc15zRUo%24&bs=%24WiVLTAF0AAE%24

DW42 I only have a pic of the flame trap location on an LH injection car, but the trick is to look from the driver's side, not from the intake manifold side or the front.
Rwilloughby Ive found it and by the looks of all the oil all over and around it its blocked but its pretty much impossible to get to it
VolvoHordz Bit of a pain to get back on mind you but if you remove the rubber bellow between the k-jet and the intake manifold it makes access easier
