I bet a few of you have had to make a tool for the job from what's lying around
I just changed the rear discs and pads on the tt . I thought I'd just be able to put a g clamp on the piston and squeeze it in but it wasn't budging. Watched a quick video and it's a wind in piston , bugger ! So I started with a big set of grips and an hour later I turned the piston half a turn . Blood near boiling by now so to the shed and I found my bicycle free-wheel tool . Ground two parts off and a bit of grinding on the other two and was a perfect fit for the piston.
Attached to the rattle gun and done in seconds, probably buy the proper tool but at the time I was covered in crap and wasn't the friendliest person to talk to ??
But job done ?
