Rob I am looking to buy my Dad a 144. I am going to be quite specific on this one, It doesn't bother me if it takes a while to find. 1973 144GL Must be dark green in colour Must be a good straight body and be as close to rust free as possible with fairly clean paint. On top of this the finished product must also have Orange/brown interior. Manual Gearbox Twin Carb B20 These things can be retrofitted if absolutely necessary but I would much prefer it if I didn't have to I would also prefer that it hasn't been messed with too much, has original wheels and has no sunroof etc. I guess if many, many months pass and nothing has surfaced I may have to broaden things a little but at this stage this is what I am chasing. Please keep your eyes peeled.
Rob I did look at that. It is very well priced and more than 3/4 of the way there. Being in Tassie is a fair inconvenience but. It is a tricky one, perhaps I could grab it and keep it in case nothing more suitable shows up Where is lower Barrington? Who has somewhere i could park it up for a a couple of months.
egads (she/her) Flights + boat + petrol would run to maybe $700. It was $550 ish to get the 360 back.
Tigabu I'm due a holiday in Melbs, so flight back is on me for me... I can get to Melbs or Drive halfway or all the way... :-D Adventure Time!!!
volvodriverman I'm happy to go get it, can sit at my place for months, its 10 minutes away from home. Can go look at it for you most days too.
Rob Apparently it is sold to someone in Melbourne subject to payment and collection. :( he is going to call if it falls through
Tigabu Geography fail... It is much closer to @volvodriverman as I thought the address was Lower Blessington, not Barrington.... Knob... :-P
