Rob I am on the hunt for a sc-815 or sc-816 head unit. Black type to suit an 850. I can pay cash or will swap for an SC-901, I have the code and the in-dash 3 stacker works a treat. Also have an external 6 stacker that can go with it if wanted.
Rob @egads Keen if you are.. do you want the stacker too? I can get it in the post tomorrow. I assume it is a grey one being from a v70?
K3FSAR I could too also possibly help. Since I was going to get rid of mine down the track and put something else in.

K3FSAR I'll get the exact model this eve (standard 850R unit with seperate amp... And did have a changer at one point). Also the buttons are a bit dicky (but getting better with more use), so I shall do some investigating.
Rob interested if you would like to get rid of it @K3FSAR. that is the exact one i am after. @egads (she/her) the sc-901 i have is grey.. i assume your sc-816 is grey also being from a v70? that would mean no mismatch for you. ;)
K3FSAR @Rob - Sure, why not. I yanked the front off it tonight and got all the buttons working properly. Also a few bulbs are blown I've discovered, so I've been having fun on eBay tonight and sourced some new LED types. Also the the LCD display doesn't light up either (first I knew about it supposed to light up :-L ), so I was going to fix that too. Depends how original you want it though, since the LED lights would no doubt not look all that original. So I can leave that for you to source actual replacement bulbs if you like. Would you too like to swap speaker grills as well? I'd be keen for the SC-901 until I work out what I want to do with the head unit side of things (I like my toys, so I am leaning towards a Pioneer 7" all in one everything for the gap.... But that's a few months off since safety comes before entertainment says the SO).
Rob @K3FSAR yep. sounds good. so i can send you 1 x sc-901 1 x radio code 2 x front door speaker covers 2 x rear door speaker covers 2 x dash speaker covers. do you want the cd stacker too. I am happy to sort out the bulbs and stuff or you can fix them if you like.. led's are good. not that stressed about originality. :D PM me your address and i will get them headed your way.
K3FSAR @Rob Cool. I'll fix up the bulbs before it goes then. Coming from Melbs so should have the parts by the end of the week so should get it turned around and on the way next week. Never the less, PM incoming!

K3FSAR Rob got the LEDs today. Having a play with them now and they work fine (dimmable and all. What are you on about @Ex850R :P ) I'll get it finished tonight and everything will be on the way Monday.

You can of course get cheaper from overseas. T3 Neo Wedge is what you need to search for. 8mm wide and max 8mm high or you'll need to modify the LED or surround to make them fit properly.
Ex850R Ohh yeah! Now I remember I got some small ones stashed , red and white if I recall , got em from USA maybe , it was ages ago after seeing a forum post on VS about puddle lights , stick em in the door card and wire em to the trailing edge door open warning light! I must check the site , they had great stuff .....too much shit bought for too many projects!!!!!
